The Philippine Statistics Authority Camarines Sur Provincial Statistical Office, in partnership with the City Government of Naga, conducted a Tree Planting Activity on April 11, 2025, at San Felipe, Naga City. This initiative supports the city’s Forest in Our Midst (FOM) program, which aims to combat global warming through the establishment and development of urban mini forests.
Twenty-one PSA employees participated in the activity, planting 120 seedlings of butterfly, coffee, and banaba trees at the designated site.
The event commenced with a brief message from Mr. Raul P. Aspe, Jr., Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Camarines Sur who expressed his hope that as participants plant and nurture trees, the PSA Camarines Sur will likewise continue to grow and flourish as an organization. Engr. Danilo B. Cea, FOM Program In-Charge, followed with an overview of the program and conducted an orientation for the participants. The activity concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Jovylin J. Cacho, who extended her gratitude to all attendees for dedicating their time and efforts toward the success of the activity.
