The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Catanduanes proudly reports a significant milestone in the implementation of the National Identification System, with a total of 262,919 Catandunganons successfully registered as of 23 April 2025. This marks 93.4% of the province’s projected population for 2024, highlighting PSA’s steadfast efforts since the roll-out in 2021.
One of the key successes of the program is the focused registration of children aged 0–4 years old, reaching 12,294 young registrants since the specialized campaign began last year. This achievement ensures that even the youngest members of the population are included in the national registry, paving the way for inclusive access to future public services.
Further extending the reach of its services, the National ID Hatid Serbisyo initiative is currently in full swing. This proactive strategy allows PSA Catanduanes to bring registration and updating services directly to the homes of senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs)—ensuring that no one is left behind. As of this release, over 55 individuals have already benefited from this inclusive approach. To request a home-based service or set an appointment with the National ID Registration Team, individuals may access our online appointment system via: tinyurl.com/NIDAppointment. The Fixed Registration Center remains open to the public from Monday to Saturday, located just a few steps away from the PSA Provincial Statistical Office at Real Street, National Road. Simultaneously, Mobile Registration Services are actively deployed to far-flung communities, ensuring wide coverage across the island. Additionally, the public is encouraged to download their digital National ID by visiting national-id.gov.ph.
Moving forward, PSA Catanduanes is committed to further enhancing the relevance and integration of the National ID by partnering with financial institutions, microfinance organizations, and both government and private agencies. These collaborations will help streamline transactions, improve identity verification, and strengthen access to social and economic services.
