Catanduanes_Demonstrating its firm commitment to making civil registration services accessible to every Catandunganon, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Catanduanes has ramped up its mobile services and grassroots engagements across the province as part of its Civil Registration Mandate. Under the leadership of Chief Statistical Specialist Anavi F. Camacho, PSA Catanduanes has conducted over 37 barangay lectures this year alone, delivering updates and consultations on vital Civil Registration updates during brgy session. These community-based initiatives aim to enhance public awareness and ensure inclusivity in accessing government-issued documents and services.

On 16 April 2025, CSS Camacho personally led the awarding of birth certificates in Brgy. Simamla, Virac. The PSA team also extended technical assistance to residents in correcting and updating birth records and facilitating registration for the National Identification System (NIDS).

Today, April 23, PSA Catanduanes, through Registration Officer II Cecilia Castilla and Birth Registration Coordinator Grace Garredo, in partnership with LCRO San Andres led by Municipal Civil Registrar Miriam Dela Providencia, deployed services to the barangays of Bislig, and Barihay. The team awarded Security Paper (SECPA) copies of birth certificates under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) and provided support for delayed registration and documentary concerns. Looking ahead, on 24 April PSA Catanduanes in coordination with St Isidore Parish in Gigmoto, Catanduanes and the LCRO Gigmoto will assist the 46 beneficiaries of Kasalang Bayan in securing CENOMAR and other provisions relative to Civil Registration concerns.
