In line with Presidential Proclamation No. 818 and ARTA Memorandum Circular No. 2025-01, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Catanduanes proudly joins the nationwide observance of the 2025 Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May. With the theme “From Red Tape to Red Carpet: Better Business Movement in a Bagong Pilipinas (#R2C:BBMBP),” the celebration aims to promote a more citizen-centric, efficient, and transparent government service culture.
Throughout the month, PSA Catanduanes is undertaking a series of initiatives that highlight the agency’s commitment to service excellence and to the ideals of the Ease of Doing Business Law, or Republic Act No. 11032. Among these initiatives is the month-long display of the official EODB banner in PSA premises and the updating of its social media and website banners to align with the national branding. Every Monday of May, PSA Catanduanes will hold EODB-themed flag ceremonies, beginning with a dedicated discussion on the importance of the celebration and how the law supports efforts to improve public service delivery.
To foster internal awareness and engagement, the agency will organize an e-learning quiz bee on the EODB Law and PSA services, and will conduct a leadership training led by Chief Statistical Specialist Anavi F. Camacho to emphasize the value of responsive and accountable governance. PSA will also update its bulletin boards and digital library system to ensure transparency and accessibility of key service information for both clients and staff.
Furthermore, PSA Catanduanes will showcase transparency and frontline service efficiency through an information booth that will provide walk-in clients with guidance on services related to civil registration, the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), and statistics. Social media channels will be actively used throughout the month to share informative posts, reels, and stories related to EODB and PSA programs. The agency will also ensure compliance with its Citizen’s Charter, as part of its continuing commitment to uphold integrity, professionalism, and efficiency in public service.
PSA Catanduanes enjoins the public and all stakeholders to support and participate in this meaningful observance. As we celebrate EODB Month, we reaffirm our resolve to eliminate red tape, streamline processes, and deliver services with the excellence and compassion the Filipino people deserve.
