27 June 2025 – In support of the Department of Education’s Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) V pledges to deploy Mobile Civil Registration System (CRS) Outlets and National ID Registration Services to requesting schools across the Bicol Region for the opening of School Year 2025–2026.
As an active member of the Oplan Balik Eskwela – Inter-Agency Task Force (OBE-IATF), PSA V demonstrates its commitment to the whole-of-government approach, working closely with various agencies to ensure a smooth, safe, and service-oriented school opening. The mobile CRS outlets will provide on-site processing of civil registry documents such as birth certificates, while National ID registration teams will assist students and school personnel in securing their National ID.
PSA believes that having accurate and documented identity is a cornerstone of a free and just society. With this, the agency wholeheartedly supports and is ready to respond to the call of Oplan Balik Eskwela, recognizing the importance of accessible public services in the education sector.
This initiative ensures that learners are equipped not only with educational materials but also with the legal identity and documentation necessary for social protection, academic transactions, and access to government services.
