In anticipation of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS, PSO Masbate gears up with a proactive approach by training Head Census/CBMS Area Supervisors, and Census/CBMS Area Supervisors as key participants in the capacity-building initiative.

The census will employ a combination of household interviews and community surveys to collect information on population demographics, household characteristics, education, health, livelihoods, and other key indicators. It will be conducted in strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality protocols to ensure the security of collected data

The training sessions cover various aspects of data collection methodologies, confidentiality protocols, and the importance of community engagement. Participants learn how to conduct household interviews, administer community surveys, and manage data effectively to uphold privacy and accuracy standards.

Residents of Masbate are encouraged to support this initiative by providing accurate information during the census, which will directly impact local development planning and resource allocation.
