The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Camarines Norte leads the opening of the 2024 Population Census Community-Based Monitoring System (2024 POPCEN-CBMS) echoing “Sa POPCEN at CBMS, Kasama ka sa Pag-unlad tungo sa Makabagong Pilipinas”.

Relative to this, the 2022 CBMS Statistical Exhibit and the Launching Ceremony of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS were conducted led by Chief Statistical Specialist Maria Dulce C. Padayao and Provincial Agriculturist Engr. Almirante A. Abad, representing Provincial Governor Ricarte Padilla. This was followed by the Roadshow from the Provincial Capitol Grounds, passing through the municipalities of Basud, Mercedes, Talisay and Vinzons before finally concluding it at Labo Convention Hall.

The event was participated by various National Agencies, Provincial Government offices, Local Government Units (LGUs), and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), demonstrating support to the conduct of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS which seeks to gather comprehensive and accurate data on the population, infrastructure, and other relevant aspects, for development planning and policy formulation at various levels.

PSA CN encourages all CamNorteños to participate in this biggest civilian activity by responding to Census-CBMS questions and by providing truthful and accurate information. In adherence to the Data Privacy Act of 2012, all submitted information will be handled with utmost confidentiality and results of the data will be used solely for statistical purposes.
