The region's headline inflation or overall inflation increased to 3.2 percent in January 2025 from 2.4 percent in December 2024. In January 2024, the inflation rate was lower at 3.1 percent.

The region's inflation rate for the bottom 30% income households accelerated to 2.4 percent in January 2025 from 2.1 percent in December 2024. In January 2024, the inflation rate was posted at 4.3 percent.

The region’s headline inflation or overall inflation slowed down to 3.2 percent in November 2024 from 3.6 percent in October 2024. This brings the regional average inflation rate from January to November 2024 to 3.6 percent. In November 2023, the inflation rate was higher at 4.5 percent.
