As part of the preparation for the upcoming 2024 Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS) and Mid-Decade Census of Population of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-PSO Albay conducted a convening of CBMS Coordinating Board in the City of Tabaco.

The convening of CBMS Coordinating Board was held in 3rd Floor., Sangguniang Bayan Hall, Tabaco City on 01 February 2024. It was attended by City Mayor Cielo Krisel B. Lagman, SB members, Department Heads, PNP, civil society, and three (3) PSA PSO Albay personnel.

The highlights of the convening are presented by SS II Arnel M. Peralta and SrSS Lea R. Toledo, the Background and Legal Basis, Objectives, Scope and Coverage, Composition of CBMS Board, Rules and Responsibilities of CCB’s, Possible Assistance to be provided by the CCB’s, and Data Items to be enumerate.

It was agreed that meeting of the CCB’s will be conducted every first month of each quarter, the meeting will be conducted on April 3, July 3, October 3, and December 3, 2024 where venue and finalization of next meeting before the set date. The convening concluded with the closing remarks from City Mayor Lagman and picture taking of participating members of the CCB’s.
