The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Camarines Norte conducted the Provincial Training on Geotagging of Service Facilities and Government Projects (SFGP) held from February 25 to 28, 2025 at PSO Camarines Norte, CBMS office.
The training was led by CSS Maria Dulce C. Padayao, SSS Janice E. Espiritu, and ISA II Jan Henri Pacinos. It successfully equipped a total of 15 newly hired personnel, including 3 Map Data Processors, 2 Map Data Reviewers, 2 Team Supervisors, and 8 Map Data Collectors. Additionally, the CBMS office-based personnel also participated. The training provided participants with essential skills and knowledge on the processes, guidelines, and protocols for Geotagging Service Facilities and Government Projects (SFGP) and the Listing of Building Construction (LoBC).
Geotagging is an essential component in the conduct of 2024 Population Census and Community Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS) operations, allowing the capture and collection of relevant and timely information about households/housing units, service facilities, and government projects collected at the local level. PSA remains committed to advancing its data collection and mapping capabilities to better serve the public and contribute to informed decision-making across all levels of government.
