Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Camarines Norte started to conduct registration of children below 1 year old as part of the ongoing Rehistro Bulilit campaign. The campaign aims to ensure that even the youngest members of society are included in the National ID System, aligning with the goal of providing a comprehensive identification system for all Filipino citizens, a total of 737 children below 5 years old were registered in National ID for the month of December 2024.
In addition, PSA field personnel have been conducting house-to-house registrations for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and bedridden individuals. This is to reach the goal of reaching every Filipino especially those with limited mobility or access to registration centers. The house-to-house initiative ensures that vulnerable groups are not left behind in the registration process, further advancing the goal of nationwide inclusivity. For the month of December 2024, 29 Senior Citizens while 3 PWDs were registered in National ID.
As of 31 December 2024, PSA Camarines Norte has successfully registered 526,645 individuals in the National ID System, surpassing its target by achieving 100.5% registration. PSA continues its collaboration with Local Government Units (LGUs), Provincial Line Agencies (PLAs), and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). These partnerships play a vital role in the continuous promotion of the National ID System, towards a seamless, accessible, and efficient registration process, ensuring that every Filipino has the opportunity to benefit from the advantages of having a National ID.
