The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the 1^st Quarter 2025 Livestock and Poultry Surveys from 1-8 April 2025 which aims to gather estimates on inventory, number of animals disposed, average farmgate price, egg production of poultry animals, milk production of dairy animals and other related data.

Four (4) Statistical Researchers are assigned a total of two hundred forty (240) sample households and six (6) sample establishments. The activity will take place across eighteen (18) different barangays throughout the municipality of the province. The training for SRs will undergo on 31 March 2025 which acquaint them with the concepts and procedures involved in the data collection process.

The statistics generated from these surveys will serve as input in the compilation of national accounts, research and studies, estimation of the performance of agriculture, policymaking, and program implementation.

Furthermore, the PSA assures respondents that all information collected will be kept strictly confidential. Section 26 of Republic Act 10625 stipulates that individual data furnished by the respondent to statistical inquiries, surveys and censuses of the PSA shall be considered as privileged information and such shall be inadmissible as evidence in any proceedings. The PSA may release data gathered from surveys and censuses only in the form of summaries or statistical tables, in which no reference to an individual, corporation, association, partnership, institution or business enterprise shall appear.
