In solidarity with the nationwide celebration of 2025 National Women's Month 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Catanduanes will take part in a series of activities throughout March, highlighting the significant contributions of women in various sectors of society. With the theme "Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas," this year's observance underscores the role of women in shaping a more inclusive and progressive nation.
As part of its initiatives, PSA Catanduanes will publish the Women and Men of Catanduanes statistics , providing an updated snapshot of gender-related data in the province. This information will be disseminated through multiple channels, including social media, local newsletters, and in coordination with partner agencies and offices. Additionally, PSA will integrate information dissemination efforts in barangays and colleges, ensuring that genderrelated insights reach a wider audience. Radio guestings will also be conducted to further discuss gender statistics and their implications.
Throughout the month, PSA Catanduanes personnel will participate in Purple Wednesdays, symbolizing support for gender equality advocacy. Health and Wellness Fridays will be observed to promote well-being among employees. On March 21, the agency will take part in a Thanksgiving Mass at Cavinitan Church, followed by the Women's Month Walk for a Cause, reinforcing the importance of unity in promoting gender empowerment. On the same day, PSA personnel will engage in Training and Development sessions, including data tabulation on men and women using CSPro and Basic Canva Design training, enhancing their statistical and digital skills.
To further equip its personnel with essential life skills, PSA Catanduanes will also participate in a First Aid Lecture conducted by the Red Cross. In addition, a podcast titled "Women in the Workplace" will be launched on March 26, providing a platform to discuss women's experiences, challenges, and achievements in professional spaces. The agency will also join in the display of tarpaulins and streamers, including "Serbisyo Para Kay Juana" and "Catanduanes Women and Men," as a public show of support for the advocacy.
As part of its commitment to social responsibility, PSA Catanduanes will organize a Donation Drive for Women in Crisis, with one identified barangay set to receive assistance. By taking part in these activities, PSA Catanduanes continues to support initiatives that uplift and recognize the invaluable contributions of women in the province.
