7 May 2024 – PLACER, MASBATE. The Philippine Statistics Authority - Provincial Statistical Office of Masbate in partnership with Local Government Unit (LGU) of Placer awarded eighty-one (37) Certificates of Live Birth in Security Paper (SECPA) to the beneficiaries of Birth Registration Assistance Project at Barangay Sta. Cruz in the aforementioned municipality led by Acting Municipal Civil Registrar Engr. Ligaya D. Nieva and her staffs. The event was attended by the PSA-PSO Masbate Birth Registration Coordinator Kenneth Ivander R. Alivio.

This event highlights the importance of birth registration as a fundamental human rights and an essential foundation for the protection and wellbeing of individuals and societies. This effort is a significant step towards ensuring that every individual has access to their basic rights and services.
