Philippine Statistics Authority tasked with implementing the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) in the Albay region, conducted on an institutional registration at Pantao Elementary School, Libon, Albay.

The primary objective of the institutional registration was to facilitate Step 2 registration for residents of Pantao and neighboring barangays, thereby issuing ePhilID to eligible registrants. With a focus on inclusivity, the campaign aimed to cater not only students but also the teachers and residents of Pantao. The registration spanned six days, during which the dedicated team from PhilSys Albay set up registration booths and engaged with the community to facilitate the registration process. The registration team guided registrants through the necessary steps, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Interactive sessions were organized to educate participants about the significance of PhilSys. Moreover, outreach efforts were done including door-to-door visits and community meetings to ensure that no eligible individual was left behind in the registration process. Also, feedback mechanisms were incorporated to gather insights and address any concerns raised by registrants, fostering transparency and accountability throughout the process.

The institutional registration at Pantao Elementary School yielded significant achievements:

  • A total of 733 clients were successfully catered for step 2 registration, highlighting the response and engagement from the community.

  • Among the registrants, 115 were issued their ePhilID.

  • Notably, step 2 registration welcomed a diverse range of participants, including students, teachers, and residents of Barangay Pantao, underscoring the campaign's inclusive approach.

The impact of the registration extended beyond the issuance of ePhilID. By facilitating access to the national identification system, PhilSys empowered individuals with a secure and convenient means of accessing government and private sector services. Furthermore, the campaign fostered a sense of community engagement and awareness regarding the
importance of PhilSys in promoting efficiency, security, and inclusivity in service delivery.

The institutional registration drive at Pantao Elementary School exemplifies the commitment of PhilSys Albay to serve the residents of Albay with diligence, integrity, and inclusivity. As PhilSys continues to visit schools and communities across the region, it remains steadfast in its mission to facilitate registration and empower Filipinos with the benefits of the Philippine Identification System.
