The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Camarines Norte in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has extended its authentication and registration services during the Family Development Sessions (FDS) for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in various barangays across the different municipalities in the province for the month of May.
Likewise, the PhilSys team also conducted house-to-house visits along with the PhilSys on Wheels to register senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs). This effort aims to cater to individuals who are unable to visit registration centers, thus promoting inclusivity and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their physical limitations, can obtain their Philippine Identification (PhilID).
Furthermore, the PhilSys team has also embarked on house-to-house delivery of Return-to-Sender PhilIDs. This initiative is designed to ensure that citizens receive their PhilIDs, this approach not only guarantees to reach the owners but also makes significant strides towards its goal of universal identification coverage.
As of 31 May 2024, 507,457 or 96.9% individuals were registered in PhilSys while 256,954 ePhilIDs were issued to CamNorteños. To ensure the comprehensive coverage of the population, PSA Camarines Norte keeps its efforts by conducting continuous mobile registration and ePhilID distribution. These initiatives are carried out with active partnerships with the Provincial and Local Government Units, NGAs, NGOs, schools, and other private institutions. Also, the PhilSys on Wheels, a mobile registration roaming at barangays remains implemented to boost National Identification Registration.
