PSA Camarines Norte brought PhilSys registration services to the island communities of Mercedes and Vinzons, Camarines Norte. This includes registration of children aged 1-4 years old and ePhilIDs issuance/distribution, ensuring that CamNorteños have access to the benefits of the National Identification System, regardless of their location.

In the island barangays of Mercedes, specifically Caringo, Quinapaguian, and Apuao, the PhilSys Team registered a total of two hundred seventy-four (274) individuals, with one hundred ten (110) ePhilIDs issued from April 9 to 10, 2024.

 

In the barangays of Mangcawayan, Pinagtigasan, and Banocboc in Calaguas, Vinzons, a total of six hundred sixty (660) individuals were registered, and three hundred twenty-three (323) ePhilIDs were issued from April 16 to 20, 2024. The team also conducted a house-to-house visit to inform residents about the benefits and significance of ePhilID and PhilID.

 

On the other hand, on April 20, 2024, the Philsys Team, together with the COMELEC, joined the Mobile Civil Registration conducted by LCRO Labo. Eighty-six (86) individuals were registered in Step 2 and nine (9) ePhilIDs were issued. The team also joined the Ugnayan sa Siguradong Serbisyo Alay Pambarangay (USSAP) in the Barangays of Asdum, Kanluran, and Silangan in San Vicente. Twenty-four (24) individuals were registered and issued six (6) ePhilIDs The Philsys Team also shared updates on the PhilSys processes and application of ePhilID and PhilID during the barangay visits/mobile registration.

 

As of 30 April 2024, 95.7% or 501,337 individuals were registered in PhilSys while 255,605 ePhilIDs were issued to CamNorteños. To ensure the comprehensive coverage of the population, PSA Camarines Norte keeps its efforts by conducting continuous mobile registration and ePhilID distribution. These initiatives are carried out through partnership with the Provincial and Local Government Units, NGAs, NGOs, schools, and other private institutions. Likewise, the PhilSys on wheels, a mobile registration roaming in selected barangays remains implemented to boost National Identification Registration.
