PSA Catanduanes proudly announces its pivotal role in spearheading the 2023 Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) and Input and Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI), as mandated by RA 10625 and EO No. 352. This significant initiative aims to comprehensively capture economic activities nationwide, shaping informed policies and strategies for sustainable growth.

With meticulous planning and unwavering dedication, PSA Catanduanes is prepared to administer 172 samples for the CPBI and 21 for the IOSPBI. The team, led by CSS Anavi F. Camacho, alongside PSO personnel, is actively engaged in rigorous training to ensure precise and efficient data collection. In a bid to enhance respondent engagement and effectiveness, PSA Catanduanes hired two statistical researchers that will bolster efforts in distributing and collecting survey forms, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data collection.

Moreover, PSA Catanduanes is committed to raising awareness and providing support to respondents. A Respondents Forum is scheduled on 9-10 May 2024, aimed at empowering participants to administer questionnaires effectively. Through informative sessions and interactive discussions, respondents will be equipped with the necessary tools to actively participate in this critical census.
