^{PSA-RSSO V Fixed Registration Centers accommodating the clientele requesting for the updating of Demographic Information in the National ID}

20 September 2024 – LEGAZPI CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority V has begun the rollout of the updating of demographic information in the National ID System in all provinces.

The updating service allows the change or correction of demographic information entries in the National ID such as name, marital status, sex, date or place of birth, address, blood type, and any clerical and/or typographical errors.

The updating service is currently available in six (6) National ID Registration Centers in the six (6) Provincial Statistical Offices (PSOs), as follows:

RD Cynthia L. Perdiz stated, “With the implementation of the Updating Service of the National ID in all six (6) provinces in the region, we can ensure that every registered person be able to fully use their National ID bearing accurate information in their day-to-day transactions with the government or the private sector.”

Apart from updating service, the PSA is already welcoming requests for replacement of National IDs with peeled-off photos. This service is also available at the National ID Fixed Registration Centers.

As of August 30, 2024, a total of 3.06 million National IDs have already been delivered to registered persons in the Bicol region, with 1.9 million National IDs in paper form already been issued.
