The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Camarines Sur partners with the Department of Social Welfare and Development to intensify the registration of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries and its household member to the National ID System. The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure an inclusive coverage of 4Ps beneficiaries to the National ID registry. This partnership will also allow a more efficient and targeted delivery of social protection program in the province.
The primary role of PSA in this collaboration is to conduct National ID registration for unregistered 4Ps beneficiaries and household members, issuance of National ID in Paper Form and authentication of registered 4Ps beneficiaries and household members during their DSWD Family Development Sessions (FDS). Beneficiaries and household members who were registered are eligible to avail the FDS equivalency provided that they have undergone identity verification through biometric authentication using the ID Authentication Service application. During the authentication, 4Ps beneficiaries and household members must present their National ID in any format or provide their National ID card number and have their fingerprint scanned to obtain a result.
The registration and authentication of 4Ps beneficiaries and household members for this year piloted on February 13, 2025 in various barangays in the province. In February 2025, the National ID registration team of Camarines Sur has registered 7,910 4Ps beneficiaries and household members, issued 2,419 National ID in Paper Form and authenticated 12,609 4Ps beneficiaries and household members who are National ID owners.
PSA Camarines Sur continues to partner with various government agencies and private entities to deliver National ID services and carry on the vision of inclusivity to all Filipino Citizens of all ages. The agency encourages everyone to register themselves to the National ID system and experience a secure identity verification and seamless transactions to both public and private sectors.
