There were more than one hundred occupied housing units in Brgy. Maymatan, Goa in 2015. The number of occupied housing units in the barangay reached 188 in 2015.

There are 100 households per 100 occupied housing units in Maymatan, Goa

A total of 188 occupied housing units and 188 households were recorded in 2015. These translate to a ratio of 100 households for every 100 occupied housing units, with an average of 4.54 persons per occupied housing unit.

 

 

Majority of the occupied housing units are single houses.

In 2015, single houses made up 100% of the total occupied housing units in Brgy. Maymatan. About 3.74% of the total occupied housing units duplex type of the total occupied housing units were reported.

 

 

 

Most of the occupied housing units with roofs made of  bamboo/cogon/nipa/anahaw

Most of the occupied housing units had roofs made of bamboo/cogon/ nipa/anahaw in 2015. In Brgy. Maymatan, 50.53% of the occupied housing units in 2015 had roofs made of bamboo/cogon/ nipa/anahaw. Meanwhile, the proportion of occupied housing units with roofs made of galvanized iron/aluminum, was posted at 44.68% and the proportion of occupied housing units had half galvanized iron and half concrete with 2.66% was registered in 2015.

Maymatan, 46.81% of the occupied housing units in 2015 had outer wall made of bamboo/sawali/cogon/nipa. Meanwhile, the proportion of occupied housing units with outer wall made of concrete/brick/stone, was posted at 27.66% and the proportion of occupied housing units had outer wall made of half concrete/brick/stone and half wood with was posted at 9.57% was registered in 2015.

Of the more than one hundred households in Brgy. Maymatan in 2015, 63.30% lived in own or owner like possession of house and lot. Moreover, 32.45% of the households lived in their own house rent-free lot with consent of owner. In addition, 3.72% of the total households lived in rent-free house and lot with consent of owner.

 

 

Most of the households in Brgy. Maymatan, Goa use electricity as fuel for lighting

Majority (82.98%) of the households in Maymatan, Goa in 2015 used electricity as fuel for lighting, while kerosene (gaas) ranked second with 16.49% of the households using kerosene (gaas) as their source of fuel for lighting in 2015.

 

 

Shared tubed/piped deep well is the main source of water supply for drinking in Brgy. Maymatan, Goa

Shared tubed/piped deep well was listed as the main source of water supply for drinking in Brgy. Maymatan, Goa in 2015. Of the total households, more than 47.87% drew water supply for drinking in shared tubed/piped deep well while more than 42.02% drew water supply for drinking from own use tubed/piped deep well. Unprotected spring was listed as the third main source of water supply for drinking for 7.45 %.

More than 48.40% of the households drew water from shared tubed/piped deep well for their water supply for cooking. Own use tubed/piped deep well ranked second as the main source of water supply for cooking with 42.55% while unprotected spring ranked third with 6.91%.
