The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) launched the 35th Civil Registration Month celebration with a theme of, “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System” to emphasize the profound commitment of the agency to provide seamless, efficient, and adaptable service to the needs of the public. This is a symbolic activity observed in a month-long celebration of the Civil Registration Month. A civil registrar’s booth dubbed as “Hapot mo, Simbag Ko” was set up near the outlet to cater queries on Civil Registration matters.
The following are the lined-up activities of PSA Cam Sur during the Civil Registration
Month.
• February 6, 2025 - Civil Registration Refresher Training

The Civil Registration Month is celebrated in February of every year pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 signed by the former President Corazon C. Aquino on 28 January 1991. This annual celebration aims to remind the Filipinos of their duty to register acts and events concerning status of persons, enhance nationwide awareness, and appreciation of the legal, administrative, and statistical values of registry documents.
