Occupied housing units in Brgy. La Purisima (Pob.), Goa reaches more than one hundred in 2015

There were more than one hundred occupied housing units in Brgy. La Purisima (Pob.), Goa in 2015. The number of occupied housing units in the barangay reached 152 in 2015.

There are 100 households per 100 occupied housing units in La Purisima (Pob.), Goa.

A total of 152 occupied housing units and 152 households were recorded in 2015. These translate to a ratio of 100 households for every 100 occupied housing units, with an average of 5.26 persons per occupied housing unit.

 

 

Majority of the occupied housing units are single houses

In 2015, single houses made up 98.03 percent of the total occupied housing units in Brgy. La Purisima (Pob.). About 1.32 percent of the total occupied housing units were commercial/ industrial/ agricultural type were reported.

Most of the occupied housing units had roofs made of galvanized iron/aluminum in 2015. In Brgy. La Purisima (Pob.), 77.63% of the occupied housing units in 2015 had roofs made of galvanized iron/aluminum. Meanwhile, the proportion of occupied housing units with roofs made of bamboo/cogon/ nipa/anahaw, was posted at 13.16% while the proportion of housing units with roofs made of half galvanized iron and half concrete was registered at 6.58%in 2015.

Most of the occupied housing units had outer walls made of concrete/brick/stone in 2015. In Brgy. La Purisima (Pob.), 53.29% of the total occupied housing units had outer walls made of concrete/brick/stone. Meanwhile, the proportion of occupied housing units with outer walls made of half concrete/brick/stone and half wood was posted at 33.55% while the proportion of housing units with outer walls made of bamboo/sawali/cogon/nipawas registered at 7.89% percent in 2015.

Four in every two of the households live in own or owner like possession of house and lot.

Of the more than one hundred households in Brgy. La Purisima (Pob.) in 2015, 85.53% lived in own or owner like possession of house and lot. Moreover, 7.24% of the households lived in their own house rent-free lot with consent of owner. In addition, 4.61% of the total households lived in rent house/room including lot.
 

 

Most of the households in Brgy. La Purisima (Pob.), Goa use electricity as fuel for lighting

Majority (96.71%) of the households in La Purisima (Pob.), Goa in 2015 used electricity as fuel for lighting, while kerosene (gaas) ranked second with 3.29 percent of the households using kerosene (gaas) as their source of fuel for lighting in 2015.

 

Own use faucet community water system is the main source of water supply for drinking in Brgy. La Purisima (Pob.), Goa

Own use faucet community water system was listed as the main source of water supply for drinking in Brgy. La Purisima (Pob.), Goa in 2015. Of the total households, more than 72.37% drew water supply for drinking in own use faucet community water system while more than 18.42 % drew water supply for drinking from own use tubed/piped deep well. Shared tubed/piped deep well was listed as the third main source of water supply for drinking for 5.92% of the households in the Barangay.

Of the total households in the Barangay, 72.37% reported that own use faucet community water system as the main source of water supply for cooking. Own use tubed/piped deep well ranked second as the main source of water supply for cooking with 20.39% while shared tubed/piped deep well ranked third with 6.58%.
