The economy of Camarines Sur grew by 3.2 percent in 2023 from its 2022 level, slower than the 8.6 percent growth recorded in the previous year. This represents an increase in the Gross Domestic Product from PhP 194.80 billion in 2022 to PhP 201.03 billion in 2023. (Figure 1)

 

 

In Bicol Region, Camarines Sur continued to be the largest economy contributing 32.9 percent to the Gross Regional Domestic Product estimated at PhP 610.34 billion in 2023. Albay was the second largest economy with 25.2 percent share. (Figure 2)
